Paulette T. Cary, Ph.D.
Dr. Paulette T. Cary, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience in private practice, specializing in behavioral pediatrics. She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from Creighton University and completed both her master’s degree in counseling psychology and doctoral degree in school psychology at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Dr. Cary completed her internship at the Boys Town Center for Behavioral Health before joining the Behavioral Pediatric & Family Therapy Program in 2004.
Dr. Cary works with children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing anxiety, mood disorders, body image and eating concerns, and life transitions. Her clinical work is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), with integration of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) techniques. She fosters a warm, supportive environment where clients and their caregivers feel safe and understood. Dr. Cary utilizes evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s needs and collaborates closely with healthcare providers, educators, and families to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.
